The said special validation was conducted from February to April 2013 which deployed 105 field staff who made house-to-house interviews using the DSWD Household Assessment Form (HAF) and Household Need Assessment Form (HNAF). The said forms contain the set of indicators deemed critical in identifying the socio –economic status of a household.
Gathered data are now subject to Proxy Means Testing (PMT), a statistical process to determine if the household is poor or not.
The Habagat Validation aims to determine the post-disaster socio-economic conditions of households who were affected by the southwest monsoon last August 2012. The results will facilitate the formulation of responsive intervention. ### Social Marketing Unit
