Malate, Manila – In preparation for the start of the National Community-Driven Development Program (NCDDP), the KALAHI CIDSS-NCDDP will be hiring a total of 641 field staff to be deployed to areas across the MIMAROPA region.

Specifically, the 62 areas to be covered by the project will require 62 Area Coordinators, 78 Deputy Area Coordinators, 78 Municipal Financial Analysts, and 423 Community Facilitators.

Interested individuals who have a background in development project management, social development, civil engineering, accountancy, and community organizing can personally submit their application letter and resume to the regional office or at the Social Welfare and Development (SWAD) office in the provinces.

The deadline of accepting of applications is on May 9, 2014.

KALAHI CIDSS-NCDDP is the scale-up of the operations of the CDD approach used and proven effective by the KALAHI-CIDSS. CDD empowers citizens to actively and directly participate in local governance by identifying their own community needs, planning, implementing, and monitoring projects to address local poverty issues collectively. ###
