MALATE, MANILA- As a systematic approach to inculcate the overall vision and mission of the organization, the Department of the Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) MiMaRoPa is conducting a three-day orientation to 30 newly hired employees until tomorrow at the regional office.

The orientation helps the staff understand the requirements and dimensions of their jobs in relation to the organization’s administrative policies and guidelines.

The MiMaRoPa regional situationer was presented to give a picture about the sectoral data and poverty statistics of Oriental and Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan provinces.

DSWD’s big programs and services which respond to the government’s effort of poverty alleviation such as National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction or Listahanan, Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, KALAHI-CIDSS- National Community-Driven Development Program (KC-NCDDP), Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) and Convergence were also discussed to the staff.

The Human Resource Unit has been conducting regular orientations to fully equip the employee for maximum performance for the organization and also for the fulfillment of the employee. ###
