As Department of Social Welfare and Development marks its 65th anniversary, various Local Government Units, National Government Agencies, local and international partner stakeholders and Civil Society Organizations have been recognized for their invaluable support and selfless commitments to the vision and mission of the Department.

The PANATA Ko Sa Bayan Award acknowledges the efforts of the individuals, groups and organizations whose panata or vow is to share their resources, time and selves in providing for a better opportunity for the disadvantaged sectors.

The Sustainable Livelihood Program ‘Taytay Seaweeds’ of the DSWD IV-MiMaRoPa was awarded as the Best Sustainable Livelihood Program Association.

The Panata Ko Sa Bayan Awarding Ceremony was held last January 28, 2016 at Asian Institute Management Conference Center, Makati City.
