To exercise the social responsibility of the employees through environmental conservation, the Convergence team of Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) composed of Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), and Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan – Comprehensive Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS) organized a mangrove planting activity in Torrijos, Marinduque last September 29, 2017.

Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) partners, Parent Leaders, and Local Government Unit of Brgy. Kay Duke showed their support in rehabilitating the mangrove site. This activity aimed to provide a safer environment for the inhabitants of the coastal community.

Through this activity, employees and volunteers were able to contribute in the restoration of the mangrove, improvement of air quality, and protection of aquatic animals. Join us in serving Torrijos!
