MALATE, Manila- The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) MIMAROPA through the Listahanan project is hiring field workers to validate potential beneficiaries of the government’s Unconditional Cash Transfer (UCT) program.

DSWD needs 95 validators and 15 Administrative Assistants (AAs) in Oriental Mindoro; 78 validators and  11 AAs Occidental Mindoro; 27 validators and  six AAs in Marinduque ;  32 validators and 17 AAs in Romblon; and  160 validators and 24 AAs in Palawan.

Under the Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) or RA 10963, UCT program will provide cash grants in the amount of P200 per month in 2018; and P300 per month in 2019 and 2020 to identified poor families to offset the increase in prices of goods for those who will not directly benefit in the lowering of personal income taxes.

“Validators will be paid per form (P50.00/form) while Administrative Assistant will receive P10,159.00 for 30 days,” said Listahanan Regional Coordinator Ernie Jarabejo.

UCT household validation will start in March targeting 94, 128 households regionwide.

Priority applicants are former Listahanan field staff; at least second-year college level; physically fit; must possess good communication and social skills, and willing to be assigned in other municipalities, added Jarabejo.
