The Provincial Operations Office of the Sustainable Livelihood Program in Marinduque successfully led the Consultation dialogue with partner stakeholders at PESO Hall, Capitol Compound, Bangbangalon, Boac, Marinduque last April 15, 2025.

Among the key partners who attended the activity are the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), DMDC Farm, Marinduque State University (MarSU), and Palawan Pawnshop.

This dialogue aimed to strengthen and expand partnership opportunities by fostering linkages and networks that provide access to technical, physical, financial, market, and social resources for program participants.

Richard Justin D. Lancion, Project Development Officer I of DICT, discussed and shared their mandates, programs, and services that could positively support the implementation of the SLP, specifically the use of their Digital Transformation Center (DTC), access to specific DICT Wi-Fi connections, and their various training programs.

Additionally, Frenz Darren J. Medallon, Cybersecurity and Digital Certificates Focal, provided an orientation on cybersecurity awareness, while Allaine Joyce M. Revilleza, eLGU/ eGovPh Focal, rendered technical assistance in facilitating the installation and use of the eGovPH application and discussed its significance.

Domingo M. Dela Cruz, owner of DMDC Farm, introduced their farm as an Agricultural Farm School and training provider. He expressed interest in offering technical support and community-based training for SLP participants engaged in agri-fishery projects. A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) is now being facilitated to formalize this partnership.

In support to the existing partnership with MarSU, SLP Focal and BS-Social Work Program Head, Rosalinda E. Punzalan, shared updates on their extension programs which integrate SLP-related activities and provision of training to program participants.

Lastly, Palawan Pawnshop Marketing Staff, Jerome L. Salonoy promoted their insurance programs that may be availed by the program participants.

“Individual effort leads to personal success, but teamwork often achieves much more. SLP Marinduque’s collaboration with national agencies and NGOs encourages the exchange of knowledge, skills, and resources. This partnership drives innovation and opens new doors, showing how the power of working together can deliver great results for the people of Marinduque.” Adonis Analista, SLP Provincial Coordinator, said in his closing message.

DSWD through SLP remains committed to intensifying its efforts in engaging more partner stakeholders and consolidating possible interventions that will further support the implementation of the Sustainable Livelihood Program.
