Paluan, Occidental Mindoro – The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office MIMAROPA, in partnership with the Local Government of Paluan, led the Tamang Tulong sa Tamang Impormasyon (3TI) Information Caravan today, June 27, 2025.
The 3TI campaign is DSWD’s initiative to fight against misinformation and disinformation, aiming to curb the spread of false information and ensure that the public receives accurate, timely, and reliable information.

Together with DSWD staff from the regional office, the Social Welfare and Development Team (SWADT) of Occidental Mindoro, and the Municipal Action Team of Paluan, correct information was shared on keyΒ programs such as I-Registro, F1KD Initiative, Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP), Risk Resiliency Program (RRP), and the Mobile Command Center (MCC).

The Paluan Municipal Civil Registrar (MCR) and Municipal Police Station (MPS) also joined the activity, sharing accurate and essential information about their respective programs and services.
As a partner stakeholder in promoting insurance awareness, Palawan Pawnshop provided accident insurance worth β‚±40,000 each to 20 lucky participants of the caravan.

β€œThrough the 3TI campaign, we are not just delivering servicesβ€”we are restoring trust in public institutions by making sure our communities are equipped with the right information,” said Ferdinand Ranada, DSWD MIMAROPA Regional Information Officer. β€œWe believe that informed citizens are empowered citizens, and that’s exactly what we aim to build through this initiative.”

Overall, the 3TI Information Caravan proved to be an effective platform for delivering accurate and timely information about DSWD programs and strengthening the campaign against fake news.
