Malate, Manila β The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office MIMAROPA, through its Crisis Intervention Section (CIS) and in partnership with the Regional Information and Communication Technology Management Section (RICTMS), successfully conducted the pilot testing of the Regional Crisis Intervention Monitoring System (RCriMS) on July 8β9, 2025.
Developed by RICTMS, RCriMS is an automated system designed to streamline the database management of the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) Program across the five provinces of MIMAROPA.
It aims to improve data accuracy, accelerate processing, and enhance the efficiency of service delivery to individuals and families in crisis.
The pilot activity was attended by CIS-designated Data Officers from each province, along with the DSWD Social Welfare and Development Team (SWADT) Leaders and CIS head and staff.
The two-day engagement provided participants with a hands-on orientation, allowing them to navigate the system interface, test its functionalities, and provide initial feedback to ensure that the platform user-friendly and adaptable to field conditions.Β
In his message delivered by Angelito Montalbo, Head of RICTMS, DSWD MIMAROPA Regional Director Leonardo C. Reynoso, CESO III, highlighted the significance of the initiative:
βThis milestone embodies our strong push for digital innovation that directly improves frontline service delivery.
