DSWD MIMAROPA, through the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) Program, kicked off the first delivery of food commodities for the 15th cycle of the Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP) last month in Paluan, Occidental Mindoro.
The New Maduron Country Farm Cooperative delivered the initial supply under a โ‚ฑ3,299,890 contract, ensuring that enrolled daycare children receive fresh, local, and nutritious food.
This milestone shows the cooperativeโ€™s readiness to support the program and strengthens its partnership with the LGU of Paluan through EPAHPโ€™s market linkage and capacity-building support.
The initiative not only meets feeding needs but also promotes local food sourcing and supports the livelihood of farmers and community-based groups.
The successful first delivery sets a strong momentum for the next cycles and reinforces our shared commitment to fight hunger and improve nutrition in Paluan.
