The activity was organized in collaboration with the 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐇𝐑𝐌𝐃𝐃), 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐂𝐁𝐒𝐒), and the 𝐃𝐒𝐖𝐃 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞.

Aside from technical discussions and orientation sessions, the activity also featured a 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬, 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐦𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐞𝐬, and the 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐈𝐕 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐤𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜—all part of strengthening HIV prevention initiatives and expanding access to testing services within the Field Office.

𝐌𝐬. 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝐉𝐨𝐲 𝐒. 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐢ñ𝐨, Project Development Officer III / PLHIV Program Focal from the Protective Services Bureau of the DSWD Central Office, served as the resource person and shared essential information on HIV basics, stigma reduction, and psychosocial support for People Living with HIV.

The training reflects this year’s 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐒 𝐃𝐚𝐲 theme, “Overcoming disruption, transforming the AIDS response,” underscoring DSWD MIMAROPA’s commitment to promoting awareness, prevention, and a stigma-free and compassionate workplace.

It further highlights the importance of sustained, collaborative, and rights-based efforts in supporting the health and well-being of individuals and communities affected by HIV.
