PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, Palawan โ€” Marking its first rollout in the region for 2026, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office MIMAROPA successfully conducted the Tamang Tulong sa Tamang Impormasyon (3TI) Information Caravan on March 20 at SM Puerto Princesa City, bringing essential information closer to the public.

The activity was made possible through the support and collaboration of the City Government of Puerto Princesa and SM Puerto Princesa City, reinforcing the importance of strong partnerships in delivering accessible and people-centered services.

The caravan served as a one-stop platform where community members accessed accurate and up-to-date information on DSWD programs and services, highlighting the role of informed participation in government initiatives.

Through direct engagement, DSWD personnel, introduced key programs including the BBM Serbisyo, Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), KALAHI-CIDSS, Project LAWA at BINHI, and the Peace and Development Buong Bansa Mapayapa (PDBBM), helping participants better understand how to access these services.

In a message delivered by Regional Information Officer Ferdinand Raรฑada on behalf of Regional Director Benchie B. Gonzales, the agency emphasized that empowering communities begins with providing accurate and timely information.

The message highlighted that informed citizens are better equipped to access services and actively participate in community development.

As the first 3TI caravan in the region this year, the activity sets the stage for its planned rollout across all provinces in MIMAROPA, further strengthening DSWD MIMAROPAโ€™s commitment to transparency, accessibility, and inclusive service delivery.

Through sustained information campaigns and strong partnerships, the agency continues to ensure that no community is left behindโ€”not only in receiving assistance, but also in understanding how to access it.
