MALATE, MANILA — The DSWD MIMAROPA Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) has begun conducting region-wide case conferences with key partners as a part of the Kilos-Unlad (KU) Framework implementation before the exit of the beneficiaries from the program.

The case conference is a part of the KU Framework where partners from the Local Government Units (LGUs), different government agencies, and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) were convened to present their specific roles and responsibilities in the process.

“Through the conduct of a case conference, we meet our partners and present to them the profiles of our transitioning households. We aim to work hand in hand with them [partners] to ensure that community resources will be accessed by the beneficiaries. We want to ensure that our beneficiaries will be able to maintain their improved well-being, even after exiting from the program”, said Abie Castroverde-Gugol, Regional Case Management Unit Focal Person.

Moreover, the conduct of case conferences aims to gather suggestions and recommendations from the partners as well as to identify needs and interventions that partners may provide to the beneficiaries upon exit from the program.

In a case conference conducted in Oriental Mindoro last February 23, Mayor Lucky Ilagan of Puerto Galera has committed his full support in ensuring that proper projects and services will be provided to exited 4Ps beneficiaries from his municipality.

As of today, there were 6 Municipal Operations Offices (MOOs) in the region that have already finished the conduct of case conferences in their respective municipalities.

There are 3,863 beneficiaries in the region expected to exit from the program in May to June 2021 through a “Pugay Tagumpay: SaMa-SaMang Pagtawid” exiting program in different locations in the region. ###
