Tinanggap ng ilang miyembro ng 4Ps ang kanilang sertipikasyon bilang simbolo ng kanilang pagtatapos sa programa.
ODIONGAN, ROMBLON – Dalawang daang benepisyaryo ng Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) ang pormal na nagtapos sa programa sa pamamagitan ng isang makasaysayang Pugay Tagumpay Graduation Ceremony na ginanap noong ika-15 ng Marso 2025 sa Municipal Covered Court ng Odiongan.
Ang Pugay Tagumpay ay isang seremonya ng pagtatapos para sa mga benepisyaryo ng 4Ps na itinakdang self-sufficient o may kakayahang tustusan ang kanilang pangangailangan nang hindi na umaasa sa programa.
Bilang bahagi ng pagkilala sa kanilang tagumpay, tumanggap ang mga benepisyaryo ng sertipiko ng pagkilala mula sa programa at bigas mula sa lokal na pamahalaan. Bukod dito, binigyang-diin ang patuloy na tulong sa mga anak ng benepisyaryo na nag-aaral sa kolehiyo upang maipagpatuloy nila ang kanilang edukasyon at masiguro ang mas maunlad na kinabukasan.
Sa kanyang mensahe, hinamon ni DSWD Undersecretary for Innovations Edu Punay ang mga benepisyaryo na patuloy na pagbutihin ang kanilang pamumuhay at huwag nang bumalik sa kahirapan.
Bagama’t opisyal nang natapos ang kanilang pagiging miyembro ng 4Ps, tiniyak ni Punay na hindi matatapos ang suporta ng gobyerno sa kanila. Ipinangako niyang may iba pang programa ang pamahalaan na layong tulungan silang mapanatili at mapabuti pa ang kanilang kabuhayan.
“Patuloy namin kayong tutulungan para mas tumaas pa ‘yung level ninyo sa buhay. Ngayong naka-graduate na kayo, self-sustainable na kayo, gusto pa nating umangat pa yan,” dagdag niya.
Ilang kawani ng DSWD 4Ps Romblon kasama ang mga opisyales ng LGU Odiongan.
Ang 200 nagsipagtapos ay bahagi lamang ng unang batch ng mahigit 600 pamilyang inaasahang makakatapos sa 4Ps ngayong taon sa Odiongan.
Sa kanilang paglabas sa programa, mabibigyan naman ng pagkakataon ang ibang nangangailangang Romblomanon na mapabilang sa 4Ps upang matulungan din silang maiangat ang kanilang pamumuhay.
Isa sa mga benepisyaryong nagpahayag ng taos-pusong pasasalamat ay si Maricel Fabito, na 13 taon nang miyembro ng 4Ps. Aniya, naging malaking tulong sa kanilang pamilya ang programa upang mapagtapos sa pag-aaral ang kanyang mga anak.
“Nagpapasalamat po ako. Napakahirap ng buhay dati pero sa tulong ng 4Ps nakaraos kami, nakapagpatapos ng dalawa, ngayon ay Licensed Professional Teachers na sila, at tapos graduating na ‘yung pangatlo at ‘yung pang-apat ay siguradong kaya na namin,” ani Fabito.
Mga benepisyaryo ng 4Ps sa bayan ng Odiongan, ipinagdiriwang ang kanilang pagtatapos sa Pugay Tagumpay Graduation Ceremony.
Samantala, nangako naman ang lokal na pamahalaan ng Odiongan at iba pang ahensya ng gobyerno na ipagpapatuloy ang pagsuporta sa mga nagsipagtapos upang masiguro ang kanilang patuloy na pag-unlad.
