Malate, Manila – The Sustainable Livelihood Program of the DSWD Field Office MIMAROPA achieved 101% physical and 100% financial targets in 2024, distributing a total of Php377,170,000.00 livelihood cash assistance to 26,281 SLP participants – a 41.7% increase on physical and 48.16% on financial as compared to 2023 program accomplishments.

Of the total SLP participants served, 55% were Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries, while 45% were non-Pantawid beneficiaries.

7,396 participants came from regular program implementation including EO 70 and Zero Hunger Program. While 18,885 came from special projects implementation including special referrals, post-disaster livelihood interventions, and 2023 continuing funds.

Under post-disaster livelihood interventions in accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 02 Series of 2021, 10,235 program participants received a total of Php 121,485,000.00 livelihood assistance, which were identified from the affected residents of El Nino phenomenon in Romblon, African swine fever (ASF) outbreak in Oriental Mindoro, and victims of a massive fire in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

For 2025, SLP continues to reach more milestones by improving the socio-economic conditions of the poor, vulnerable, and marginalized households and communities through accessing and acquiring thriving and resilient livelihoods.
