MALATE, Manila- The Listahanan of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) MiMaRoPa has released Php925,382.00 for the remaining salaries of project-based staff during the 2015 second round household assessment.

A total of Php147,200.00 was released for 104 staff in Occidental Mindoro; Php261,970.00 for 151 staff in Oriental Mindoro; Php39,482.00 for 38 staff in Marinduque; Php35,815.00 for 27 in Romblon; and Php440,915.00 for 176 staff in Palawan.

The 496 field staff which comprises of:  Enumerators, Area Coordinators and Supervisors, were hired during the Listahanan Validation and Finalization – a phase wherein the initial list of poor households are posted in barangays for community verification.

Listahanan is the DSWD’s tool to map out who and where the poor are nationwide. According to the 2015 results, 207,863 households or 36.5 percent are identified poor from the 569,316 households assessed and validated regionwide. ###
