MALATE, Manila — The DSWD MIMAROPA, led by the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), conducts regionwide Community Assemblies for the potential beneficiaries of the program.

In San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, it was ensured by the 4Ps Municipal Operations Office (MOO) that health and safety protocols were followed while conducting the said activity.

According to the 4Ps Act (RA 11310), the program must organize a Community Assembly to validate the documents presented by the potential households and ensure that only eligible households will proceed to the Program Orientation Session (POS).

After the rigorous  evaluation of their qualifications, the DSWD 4Ps will then decide who among the potential household will be registered to the program.

Upon approval of registration, the new beneficiaries will then be invited to join POS where they will sign the Oath of Commitment, process their 4Ps ID, and fill out necessary forms for the opening of cash card accounts in partnership of the program with the Landbank of the Philippines. ###
