The Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program of DSWD IV-MiMaRoPa resumes payout or release of cash grants to beneficiaries starting this June to all five provinces. Due to the election ban which impeded the release of public funds, it was directed to stop release of cash grants to insulate the program from politicking.

The payout made last February 2013 covers the period of the compliance of the beneficiaries from November to December 2012. Also, an advance payout covering the period of January to February was added due to the election ban. The difference from the advanced payout to the actual compliance of the beneficiaries from January to February will be deducted or added, depending on their compliance, on the payout this June.

Information about the difference from the advanced payout to actual compliance of the beneficiaries was disseminated by the municipal links through Family Development Sessions and other meetings. Also, during payout, grievance tables were set up to accommodate inquiries from people concerned.

As of June 25, DSWD IV-MiMaRoPa has disbursed a total amount of Php 140,853,000 to 91,416 household beneficiaries in five provinces accounting to 50% of the total funded amount. The payout is still on-going.
