In a momentous event, the KALAHI-CIDSS Regional Program Management Office of DSWD MIMAROPA participated in the TINDIG: 2024 National Summit with the theme “Standing Up for KALAHI-CIDSS and Championing Our Communities” at the IC3 Convention Center in Cebu City and Bai Hotel in Mandaue City from April 21-26, 2024. 

The victorious activity was actively participated by the different KALAHI-CIDSS Regional Program Management Offices (KC-RPMOs) and selected Area Coordinating Teams (ACTs) nationwide, including the 47 competent CDD champions of MIMAROPA region.

TINDIG National Summit served as a platform to collect, preserve, and maintain intangible assets from different experts which participants can gain from, and prepared the organization for the conclusion of the different program modalities and transition to possible future projects.

Through this summit, the organization also recognized the loyalty and excellent service of individual staff, as well as the accomplishments of the regional offices in the last implementing year.

Furthermore, this activity embodied the desire and the campaign to secure support for CDD institutionalization in any form and ignited the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie through the Competency and Advocacy Olympics and Fun Run.

Delegates from the MIMAROPA region made noise when they received the nod of the judges and won different contests, including being the Champion and Best Composition in the Singing and Song Writing Competition, Champion in Spoken Poetry, and placing 3rd Runner Up in the Community Diorama Making Contest and awarded them as 2nd Runner Up for the Competency and Advocacy Olympics.

DSWD MIMAROPA KALAHI-CIDSS RPMO congratulates the following team members who were given recognition during the closing ceremony: Jesus Marino, Best Area Coordinator; Engr. Chero Rubio, Best Technical Facilitator; Rhoda M. Solleza, Best Municipal Financial Analyst; and Sol T. Gaytano, Best Community Empowerment Facilitator. Ma. Claire Panganiban and Jesus Marino were also recipients of the loyalty awards, a recognition of their decades of standing up for KALAHI-CIDSS and championing our communities.
