In a proactive move to empower local communities, the 2nd Quarter Provincial Inter-Agency and Grievance Committee (PIAGC) forum and the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) Provincial Intervention Caravan conducted at the Barangay Covered Court, Santa Maria Village, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro on June 20, 2024.

This pivotal event catered more than 136 individual 4Ps beneficiaries, alongside key stakeholders from various sectors which showcased 4Ps program impact but also deepened stakeholders’ understanding of its vital contributions to the province.

The forum served as a venue for the City/Municipal Action Team (C/MAT) Leaders to address the concerns of 4Ps beneficiaries in Calapan City in clarifying queries, providing necessary assistance, and guiding beneficiaries through the range of services offered by Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and City Government Departments.

Under the capable leadership of the 4Ps Provincial Operation Office (POO) in Oriental Mindoro and C/MAT Leaders, the event exemplified a collaborative effort that significantly enhanced the well-being of household beneficiaries.

Through advocacy efforts, distribution of informational materials, and on-the-spot service provisions, the event underscored the commitment to improving the quality of life for every household beneficiary.

The success of this initiative underscores the importance of such community-driven activities in bridging government programs and services with the tangible needs of 4Ps beneficiaries, ensuring a more inclusive and supportive environment for all.
