Boac, Marinduque –“Tunay nga pong walang imposible kung may dedikasyon at determinasyon.”

This were the motivational words of Leila Malucong in her valedictory address during the recently concluded Pantawid Pamilya High School Graduation Ceremony last May 20, held in this municipality.

Over 14,000 partner-beneficiaries in MiMaRoPa completed high school, 1,246 of which came from Marinduque. Some 100 selected honor students attended the graduation rites to represent the Pantawid Pamilya graduates of 2015.

encouraged high school graduates to continue achieving their dreams despite challenges. Cristel Joy Lincallo, a graduate of information technology said that  “poverty is not a hindrance to success,” and that hardwork pays off in the end.

After six years of implementation, the graduating batch of the year are the first to complete high school under the Pantawid Pamilya program. Regional Director Wilma D. Naviamos acknowledged the support and participation of parents in the success of the graduating students. “The parents who are here to witness the ceremony have equally done a great job that contributes to the success of their sons and daughters.”

During the ceremony, representatives from various National Government Agencies and other stakeholders presented a post-high school graduate programs that could benefit the incoming college students. These agencies include, TESDA, DOLE, DOST and Mariduque State College and the Provincial Government among others.
