CALAPAN City — The Hands of Love Philippines, Inc recently forged into a data-sharing agreement with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) MIMAROPA to access the Listahanan 3 list of poor

“We believe this Listahanan 3 partnership will be beneficial to the vulnerable communities in Oriental Mindoro. And we are confident that with our combined efforts, we will be able to achieve our shared goals towards poverty reduction,” says DSWD MIMAROPA Regional Director Leonardo Reynoso.

Hands of Love PH, a DSWD licensed and registered Civil Society Organization (CSO), aims to facilitate the sustainable development of poor communities in Oriental Mindoro.

Utilizing this systematic data can help to effectively reach the intended recipients of our educational and health services, feeding, relief, and livelihood programs, said Hands of Love Executive Director Tamotsu Sakai.

In 2014, Hands of Love first entered a Listahanan partnership with DSWD MIMAROPA.

As taking part of this initiative, we also encourage other offices to support Listahanan by taking into consideration this effort to help your future interventions, added Sakai.

Listahanan is a government mechanism for identifying who and where the poor are.

Interested parties who would like to access the DSWD list of poor must accomplish the standard DSA form, designate a data protection officer, and establish security measures in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012. ###
